For some reason, it doesn’t sound as bad as it would sound in America . . .

The Dutch Health Mininstry may track all Dutch citizens from birth national database. I don’t fear things like this (after all, I am not a libertarian sympathizer), as long as this information isn’t monopolized and abused by the government. This may be an idealized position - but I believe that in the past, increased information access among citizens has been able to check the expansion of such powers in the government.

That’s what the futurist in me says, anyways.
